Description
evo.com | Faction Skis > The Faction Dictator 2.0 Skis call the shots, especially in steep, technical and icy terrain. Faction’s stoutest and dampest construction includes two sheets of Titanal, a full poplar wood core, full strength sidewalls and burly 2.5mm edges for the complete big mountain package. One ride will tell you this is the right choice for days when you aren’t quite sure if you’ll measure up to the terrain, but you want to stack the odds in your favor. Dual Span Titanal Titanal’s isotropic qualities, equally strong in all directions, mean that the ski loves being on edge, blasts through bumps and feels stable even in changeable snow, making it the perfect chassis for a holy grail, hard-charging freeride ski. We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width. Poplar Core Poplar is a light-colored, medium-weight, durable softwood that flexes and pops nicely as well as having a whole load of vibration absorption capabilities. Used as the only wood in this core, it allows the ski to pop, butter and stomp like a park ski and also have enough torsional stability to grip impressively on the downhill. Flex Rating 8 (1 Soft – 10 Stiff) XL 2.5mm Edges Extra edge thickness gives the skier a pair of skis that absorb shock and impact much better than skis with standard edges. The result is a ski with a much higher life expectancy. | Faction Dictator 2.0 Skis 2022 – 187
